Faringdon – Eating & Drinking – Fastfood & Takeaway – Indian
One of two Indian restaurants in Faringdon, and my favourite by far. The food at Saffron is second to none – I must have eaten here a dozen times and never had a bad meal. The menu is extensive, all the usual curries plus a few more unusual ones. Prices are reasonable, you can easily get a meal for 2 with beer for about £20 a head.
The staff are very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Decor is muted and modern, definitely no flock wallpaper here! Normally fairly busy so might be worth booking. You can usually park on the road outside the restaurant but it’s only 5 mins walk from the centre of town anyway. Highly recommended!
