Not sure what to make of this book! I really enjoyed all the different stories around each household, and looked forward to learning more about the characters. However, I felt the mystery of the postcards – which was the factor that tied them all together – seemed to be almost completely forgotten for a long while and the conclusion was a bit weak and left me wondering what the point of the book actually was! Glad I read it, even though it seemed to take me an age, but really confused by the author’s intentions.
